Need a meaningful sub plan that students can complete independently?
This Vaccines WebQuest is a ready-to-print activity that keeps students engaged while they practice researching credible health sources. Students explore real information from the World Health Organization, CDC, and Our World in Data to learn how vaccines work, why they matter, and how they prevent outbreaks.
Students use QR codes or links to explore real health websites and answer questions about vaccine safety, disease prevention, and how vaccines help protect communities. The activity mixes research, data analysis, critical thinking, and short writing, so students stay busy and focused for the entire class period.
This activity works well in middle school or high school health classes and typically takes about one class period (45–60 minutes).
